“Sharon and Ronald have been pivotal members on each board and committee they served on and have contributed to our town in many different ways,” Select Board Chair Mark Townsend said. “They’ve helped us grow Carver into the town it is today, and for that, we will forever be grateful.”
During their 30 years living in Carver, in addition to raising their two kids in town, Sharon and Ronald have been heavily involved in the community. Sharon spent many years volunteering with the Library Trustees, Redevelopment Authority and Zoning Board of Appeals, while Ronald volunteered with the Area 58 Community Access Media Board of Directors, Cable Advisory Board, Capital Outlay Committee, Community Center Advisory Building Committee, Council on Aging, Earth Removal Committee, Plymouth County Advisory Board and Select Board.
Through their volunteer work, Sharon and Ronald were instrumental in helping to modernize the Town of Carver and bring about positive changes throughout the community.
The Clarkes recently moved out of town and resigned from all of the boards and committees they were on. While the town will greatly miss them, everyone wishes them the best on their next adventure!
